FAMOUS RACES AND RIDDLES

• Sing and play along with Molly and Tenbrooks, The Tortoise and the Hare, The Tennessee Mountain Foxchase and other famous races.
• When you guess the answer to this riddle (and others) an animal puppet will make an appearance:

• Join a jam session and play gourds, bells, tambourines and drums. Kim & Jimbo bring over 200 world percussion instruments for children to play along during the performance.
ABOUT KIM & JIMBO: Kim & Jimbo play fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, jawharp, bones, African drums, and more. They have performed together professionally for over 20 years and have reached more than 200,000 children and families at schools, libraries, festivals, and fairs throughout the state.

In addition to performing at the White House Easter event and the Kennedy Center Open House, they have performed at over 50 libraries in Virginia and have been selected as touring artists by the Virginia Commission for the Arts. Grants are available to help with the performance fee.

GRANTS:
Based on their artistic excellence and sound management, Kim & Jimbo have been selected as Touring Artists by the Virginia Commission for the Arts. Grants are available for non-profit organizations to help with the performance fees and travel expenses.
• Grants are awarded ‘first-come, first-served’. Please book early while the grants are still available.
• The grant deadline is December 1, 2016 for the touring season of July 1, 2016 through June 15, 2017.
• Kim & Jimbo will help with the relatively simple application process. Please contact them for details.
